The quarter final of the county minor championship takes place on Thur Aug 7th in Glenbeigh at 7pm where East Kerry play Mid Kerry.

There was no winner of last nights lotto jackpot of €11,000. The numbers drawn were 11,15,16,21. Consolation prizes drawn were €100 John Dunlea, €60 Michael & Jennifer Leane, €60 Nessa Brosnan, €30 Nuala McDonnell, €30 Eileen Doolan. The jackpot now increases to €11,250 for the next draw on August 17th.

Our minor and junior teams are both playing at home on Friday Aug 8th. Our minors play Glenflesk in the East Kerry league at 6.30pm with our juniors playing Milltown Castlemaine at 7.45pm in the Molyneaux Cup.

Two games in as many days did not affect our minors who defeated Currow by 3-12 to 3-06 last evening in the EK League.

Our minors were beaten 4-15 to 1-4 by Fossa in the East Kerry league.

We have gone close in recent years to winning this competition but have come up just short. Our round 1 opponents this year are Milltown who we play at home on Friday Aug 8th @ 7pm.

Our U21’s have a bye to round 2 of the Club Championship where we await the winner of Legion v Keel/Listry.
