Well done to Kieran Fleming who won Denis Casey’s Captains Prize in Kenmare on Saturday with 43 points. 33 golfers took part and enjoyed a great day out. We look forward now to Billy Doolan’s Presidents Prize in September.

Well done to our Juvenile Board who organised a superb family day at the pitch yesterday. Thanks to all who assisted in any way. Thanks again to our ladies committee for the lovely BBQ and catering.

Round 9 takes place on Sunday August 17th with a trip to Connolly Park to play Austin Stacks. This game throws in at 2pm.

Well done to Shane Murphy & the Kerry Juniors who defeated Sligo 2-21 to 0-10 in the All Ireland semi final today.

There were mixed fortunes for our minor and junior teams last evening. Our minors scored 6-09 in defeat to Glenflesk who scored 6-17. There was joy for our juniors however who defeated Milltown/Castlemaine by 2-14 to 3-06 in the first round of the Molyneaux Cup.

Final reminder that our family day takes place on Sunday from 2pm with lots of games and activities for all the family. Special thanks to Mahers Meats who sponsored the burgers for the BBQ.

The East Kerry minors have advanced to the semi final of the county championship following a 3-17 to 3-10 victory over Mid Kerry in Glenbeigh this evening.

Fridays scheduled double header will go ahead. The minor game v Glenflesk throws in at 6.15pm in Kilcummin and will be followed by the Molyneaux Cup game v Milltown/Castlemaine at 7.15pm.
