Kilcummin/Rathmore were defeated by Dr. Crokes 1-12 to 1-10 in the semi final of the U21 County Championship last evening in Fitzgerald’s Stadium. A poor first half performance saw us trail by 1-5 to 0-3 at half time. A spirited second half performance was needed and delivered and we led by 1 point with a couple of minutes remaining only for Crokes to respond with 3 late points. We wish James Devane a speedy recovery from a shoulder injury which he picked up in the second half of this game.
