It was as close as it gets but our seniors, having led by 1-5 to 0-6 at half time and then trailed by 2-8 to 1-8 with 7 minutes to go, are into the next round of the county championship following a 2-10 to 2-09 win over St Michael’s Foilmore. Kevin McCarthy goaled in the first half and a late Shane McSweeney goal sealed a great win.
