Senior Club Notes 5.11.17

Senior Football

Dr Crokes 0-12 Kilcummin 0-11

Our Senior team completed their season on Saturday last when they bowed out of the O’Donoghue Cup to Dr Crokes in Lewis Road by a single point. This was a very creditable performance and we even lead by six points early in the second-half.

However Dr Crokes introduced some influential substitutes and this combined with a number of spurned opportunities by ourselves saw the home team go forward to face Legion in the Semi-Final.

What has been at times a difficult season for players and management with injuries and absences their recent performances have given the supporters much hope for the year ahead and with dedication and a little bit of luck who knows where it might take us. Well done to players, management and supporters for your commitment to your club.
