Our minor team qualified for the semi final of the County League Division 1 with a hard fought 2-17 to 3-09 win over Austin Stacks in Connolly Park on Saturday evening. Trailing by 1 point with 6 minutes remaining, Gary O’Leary dispatched a well taken penalty before Noel Duggan added a second goal to seal victory and passage to the last 4. We now await the result of the Dr. Crokes and Kerins O’Rahillys game next Friday night to find out our opposition in the semi final.
