A huge crowd turned out on Sunday 15th December to complete our fun run and walk. There must have been at least 100 people walking and running the circuit and many more joined us in the clubhouse for a great party afterwards. Brendan Kealy was on hand to present certificates to all those who had participated in the club’s academy during the year. Brendan was also available to conduct the giant raffle which saw many people heading off laden with goodies for the festive season close at hand, vouchers and holidays. The event also saw the launch of the 2014 Kilcummin calendar which will now be seen in many houses throughout the parish. Much credit must go to the committee that organised the event and to those who stewarded, took registrations, catered for the crowds and played the music on the day. A big thank you is also due to those who sponsored prizes on the day and who provided sponsorship for the calendar. It just wouldn’t be possible to name everyone but your assistance is most appreciated. Thank you also to all those who sponsored those who took part and to the participants who have helped raise much needed funds to run our juvenile section. Altogether the club pulled together for a fantastic day which was much enjoyed by all who took part. Winners of the main prizes were
