It is that time of year again. The time of year that every footballer looks forward to as the Senior County Championship kicks off around the county next weekend. We have been a senior club since winning the Intermediate Championship in 1997 and our very first game in 1998 was at home to South Kerry. We also hosted them in 2008 and next Sunday we hope for third time lucky, after being beaten by narrow margins on the two previous occasions. Throw in is 2.30pm on Sunday and patrons are asked to arrive early at the grounds as a large crowd is expected. Please wear your club colours!
