We played without Kevin McCarthy and Enda O\u2019Sullivan from the named team and lost Kieran Murphy before half-time, but we could be considered unlucky not to at least have earned a draw and a probable victory. Playing with the wind in the first-half we led by 1-6 to 0-7 at half-time courtesy of a superb goal from Kevin Gorman and some fine free taking from Noel Duggan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With James O\u2019Donoghue very influential for Legion the second half they went a point in front, but we rose to the task and driven on by the likes of Sean O\u2019Leary and Paul O\u2019Shea in particular. We created numerous opportunities and kicked some fine scores, but it was not to be as the crossbar and a late goalmouth scramble denied us.
