It was a case of sweet sixteen for Kilcummin tonight when the under 16 squad came out tops in a well contested final of the County League Division 5 in Tralee. Kilcummin did’nt have it all their own way but determination saw the lads through as they scored 6-10 to a credible 4 -6 for a very good Ballydonoghue side. It was a well deserved win reflecting a very good season which had seen Kilcummin top the league table when the draw for the semi finals were made. Despite only two days rest since their semi-final victory the Kilcummin lads came out in front and deserve great credit as do their mentors. Well done to all involved. Its great to see the result of the final reflect their form throughout the season. The squad and mentors are:
