Kilcummin 4-09 Gneeveguilla 2-13
On Mon 13th July we claimed the E Kerry league title defeating our neighbour and great rivals Gneeveguilla.Our rivals started quickly and raced into a 3pt lead but stout defence from our six backs,John,Dan,Darragh B,Conn ,Darragh C and Christopher allowed us to gain a foothold and led by Paul & Dylan we scored 3 goals from Deane ,Paul and Darren to have us 3-05:to 0-10 pts ahead @ the break.
Gnneveguilla roared back into the game in the second half and kept chipping away at our lead but hard work from Phillip,Danny and Evan ,Darren who added his second goal and points from Dylan & Keith kept the lead. With 10 mins to go it was down to 2pts but trojan work from Cian and the whole team saw us survive the nerve jangling last few minutes to claim the title. Well done to Nathan,Tiernan ,Liam ,Sean and Adam who all played their part during the league.Thanks to Glenflesk for the use of the pitch and to Gneeveguilla for a sporting contest
