Hard luck to the under 14 team who lost out on Sunday 25th in the final of the Division 3 East Kerry Championship. Despite some very good individual performances Kilcummin just did not have the strength to match the combined parishes of Scartaglin and Cordal who between them were able to field a much bigger and stronger team.
It was not until the second half that the Kilcummin team began to get to grips with the pooled team but by then the lead that had been accumulated in the first half by the Scartaglin/Cordal combination proved too much.
