Our seniors defeated St. Marys by 1-13 to 1-10 in Round 11 of the County League in Kilcummin on Sunday afternoon. We have ended the league therefore on 16 points, 2 behind Spa who are now promoted to Division 1 for next season and we congratulate them and wish them well in the top flight. We are tied with Milltown Castlemaine who must yet play St. Pat’s and a draw will be enough for them to take the 2nd promotion spot. Regardless of what happens, 16 points from 22 is a very credable return and we were undefeated at home all season which is very encouraging.
