A bad night on the road in the County League. Our seniors were defeated by 2-05 to 0-10 in Blenerville. 2 points that could and should have been won here. 14 wides in the hour and two sloppy goals conceded however early days and there were some encouraging signs. We look forward to hosting Desmonds next Saturday night at 7pm in Kilcummin.
Our juniors went down to Renard with a depleated panel and put in a credable performance going down to the home team by 0-12 to 0-06. Good to see the return of players like Alan Moynihan, Denis O’Sullivan and Darragh Casey. The juniors continue their Division 5 South campaign in Cromane next Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm. EK Junior League Round 2 is next Tuesday evening at 7pm in Rathmore.
