Rathmore will be the hat for the semi final draw of the O’Donoghue Cup following a 0-14 to 1-09 win over Kilcummin in Fitzgeralds Stadium this afternoon. The loss of Brendan Kealy, Mike McCarthy, Kevin McSweeney and of course long term injury to Jamie O’Sullivan were a considerable factor. No doubt better days in the competition lay ahead for this yound team who must now re group for their final county league game of the year on Oct 21st when it is hoped that promotion to Division 1 for 2013 can be secured.
