Our senior team continued their preparations for the opening round of the O’Donoghue Cup when they defeated Newcastlewest by 1-20 to 1-17 in a challenge match played in Kilcummin on Sunday afternoon. The Limerick men are preparing for the Limerick County Final and are trained by Jerry O’Sullivan of Firies. It was a very entertaining and competitive game and has left the management with a number of head aches ahead of the big clash with Glenflesk on Saturday afternoon next at 4pm in Glenflesk.
