Message from Club Executive 22.3.18

Calling all club members and their family and friends.

Next Thursday night 29th sees the culmination of months of hard work by a committee from Kilcummin and Glenflesk parishes in aid of both GAA clubs. They will present for the first time in Munster an OSKARS night, which will have local people only, acting in 7 eight minute long films. They are Michael Collins, The Field, The Snapper, Forest Gump, A Few Good Women, Sister Act and Fr. Ted.

This is the only chance we will get to see these locals perform and it is a once off opportunity to raise considerable funds for the club. The doors will be open at 7pm and the shows commence at 8pm. Dress is SMART CASUAL and it presents an opportunity to get those “glad rags”on as there will also be a prize for the best dressed male and female.

Up to 80 people have been rehearsing for the last two months and have produced very professional and entertaining scenes from the movies, with some exceptional performances, so a great night is guaranteed. You will also get an opportunity to vote for the best movie and to walk the RED CARPET.

Get groups together or come alone and be part of a special night. Don’t be sorry afterwards! Tickets are €25 and are available from Kilcummin Post Office or INEC box office.
