Kilcummin Win Best Overall in East Kerry Scór Final

Congratulations to Scór Officer Aileen Moriarty and her team for taking the best overall category in this year’s final of the East Kerry Scór na bPáiste. As well as taking the best overall category all of Kilcummin’s teams represented the club very well and our final placings and those involved in each category were

Tráth na Gceist – 1st place for Béibhinn Brosnan, Micheál Sweeney, Liadan O’Connor and Conn Fleming.

Rince Fóirne– 2nd place for Caoimhe madigan, Katie O’leary, Aoife O’Sullivan, Shauna O’Donoghue, Shannon Gleeson, Liadan O’connor, Caithlín Doolan and Kayla Byrne.

Amhránaoict Aonair – 1st place for Shauna O’Leary

Ceol Uirlise Beibinn Brosnan, Kirill Healy, Claire Stagg, Aoireann Moriarty, Aoife O’Sullivan, Eábha Dwye and Líadan O’Connor, gave a strong performance to finish third in the instrumental Music

Léiriú Nathan Counihan, Dara O’Callaghan, Aoireann Moriarty, Shauna O’donoghue, Eábha Dwyer, Lillie Foley, Líadan O’Connor Anna Hannigan, Claudia Counihan and Jean Foley came second in the play.

Kilcummin Kilcummin’s Ballad group – Shauna O’Leary, Roisín Chambers,Lillie foley, Alison Moynihan and Aoireann Moriarty were a very good second and finally

Set Dancing was won by the Kilcummin team of Micheál Sweeney, Danny Cronin, Nathan Counihan, Darren Lehane, Nicole williams, Alison Moynihan, Shauna O’leary, Shauna O’Donoghue and katie O’Leary.

Our quiz team will go forward to the County Final while Shauna O’Leary(Solo singing) and the set dancers will represent the club at the county semi-final on Saturday 29th March in Foilmore at 4pm.
