The playing season is coming to an end for the 30 boys that make up the u10 squad and these players have indeed been very busy in recent weeks. Firstly, a rare bus trip saw the boys head for Strand Road to take on the locals and it was a happy journey home as both the U9s and U10s recorded comprehensive victories over Kerins O’Rahillys. The Beaufort U10 blitz saw Kilcummin record victories over Legion , the home team and Glenflesk in their three games.
Fossa hosted their annual U10 blitz on Sunday, October 6th and here Kilcummin had to work very hard to record narrow wins over the hosts in both the U9 and U10 finals in what was a very well run event as ever. On Saturday last, the young troops headed for Killorglin (with thanks to the many parents who provided transport) and enjoyed two thrilling and very competitive games with Laune Rangers, recording narrow victories in the process.
