Under 12s play Fossa away on 10 April at 7pm. Despite great effort and some fine passages of play the lads were beaten the last time out against a very strong Beaufort. The fact that it was Kilcummin’s first game out and that both players and management were adapting to the new 11 aside format probably didnt help. Lets hope the result(s) next Sunday go our way.
Under 14s play Ardfert at home on 13 April at 7pm in the County League. The lads have won one game so far but lost narrowly the last time out against Laune Rangers by 2-15 to 3-8. This looks like a closely matched league with five of the six teams competing all sharing 2 points so it is all to play for next Wednesday. Ardfert look like a stong outfit however and bet Laune Rangers the last time out. Kilcummin should be up to the task however and I’ll certainly be doing my best to get along to what should be a very good game.
Under 16s play Crokes at home on 11 April at 7pm in the East Kerry League. Despite some very good play the lads have lost their first two games in this competition but it has to be borne in mind that progress has been hampered by injuries and the fact that the returns recorded on the scoreboard have not matched the performances on the pitch. Hopefully that will not hold true next Monday.
