Our seniors got their 2011 County League Division 2 campaign off to the best possible start this afternoon with a 3-15 to 1-06 win at home to Milltown Castlemaine. Leading by 1-05 to 0-02 at half time, the goal coming from the boot of the impressive David Brosnan, Shane McSweeney and Chris O’Leary continued to dominate the midfield exchanges in the second half and scoring opportunities for our forwards were plentiful. Jamie O’Sullivan came on at home time and added two second half goals to help secure an important win on home ground.
