It isn’t often a team scores 8-13 and is defeated but that was the fate for our minors v Fossa in the EK Championship. The game ended Fossa 10-10 Kilcummin 8-13.
We have drawn South Kerry in the quarter final of the county championship. This fixture will be played next weekend. Also drawn Rathmore v Dr Crokes, Kerins O’Rahillys v Legion & West Kerry v Kenmare.
Well done to our senior ladies who beat Causeway by 4-9 to 1-2 in the final of the Mary Jo Curran Shield.
Our seniors are into the quarter final of the county championship following a fantastic 1-14 to 1-10 win over St Kierans in Kilcummin this evening. Shane McSweeneys late goal copper fastened a famous win as good as any we have had.
We are calling on all of our supporters to come out and get behind the senior team on Saturday evening when we play St. Kieran’s at 5pm in Kilcummin in the SFC Round 3.
