Seniors Suffer Third Defeat

There is no doubt but our seniors are very unlucky not to have any points on the board after our opening 3 county league games in Division 1 however that is our faith following a 0-12 to 0-07 defeat at the hands of Austin Stacks in Kilcummin on Saturday evening.

Minors Into County Semi Final

Well done to our minor team and their management on a flawless county league group stage campaign. By virtue of Friday evening’s 0-11 to 1-6 victory over Milltown / Castlemaine, we have secured a home venue for our county semi final. Details of this game will be confirmed shortly.

Lotto on Sunday Night

Sunday night see’s our lotto jackpot return to Eur2,500 following Denis Coffey’s win of Eur5,500 at our last draw. This would still be a nice win for somebody facing the summer months! Get your tickets in the Klub, Post Office or from usual sellers. Online sales for this draw close at 6pm on Sunday evening.

Senior County League

Our senior team are yet to pick up their first point in this years County League campaign and host Austin Stacks in Round 3 in Kilcummin on Saturday evening next, April 13th, at 6.30pm. Stacks have 2 points coming into next weekend’s game having drawn each of their first 2 games.

Our minors have their final group game in the county league on Friday evening, April 12th, in Milltown at 6.30pm v Milltown / Castlemaine.

Well Done to Ballad Group

Despite a tremendous performance, our ballad group did not advance to the All Ireland final from last evenings Munster final. This was a superb campaign by a young ballad group however and they will be back again. Well done to all on representing the Club very well.

Seniors Defeated

Our seniors were defeated by Kerins O’Rahillys in round 2 of the county league tonight on a scoreline of 0-21 to 2-11. Match report to follow.
